New roller

The investment into the golf course continues and we have taken a picture, albeit a blurry one of our new greens roller. We have actually bought two!! to replace our existing roller which has been used a lot. Rollers are vital in modern greenkeeping to keep the green speed high whilst not unduly stressing the grass. Having two also allows us to roll greens at the weekends, for two tee tournaments and shotgun starts where previously one roller would not have got round in front of the golf. Hopefully the benefit will be noticeable for all members.
