Spot the difference

Here is a picture of the 14th hole which looks a little different. Members of the golf course should be able to spot the removal of a decayed Ash tree on the left of the hole by the water. (the pile of woodchips is still visible)

This process has;

1. Removed a decaying tree which if fell, would have ended up  in the lake and been very difficult to remove.
2. Removed an obvious Health and Safety Risk to golfers
3. Opened up the hole, making it more stunning to view and accentuated the holes movement around the edge of the water.

For the tree enthusiasts amongst you, we have included a large mature Oak installation behind the green to balance the hole with the mature Oak on the right by the water in the course development plans. This will improve the hole even further. It will be planted at the end of the season however, to ensure maximum chance of success. This week the stump area will be top-soiled, landscaped and seeded. Ill try to find a comparison picture to compare and put it up as well.
