Many of you have seen that we have been working on the right hand side of the 8th hole. This area has become so dense over the years, but it is full of heather and self set pine trees. I have just put a few photos up of the work so far. We have thinned it out so and it looks fantastic (although I always do the photos at the end of the day so the light is very poor, sorry) and it will look stunning when the heather flowers next year. We are trying to get a pine woodland with an acid grassland and heather understory as a feature round the course where possible and hopfully the view will span the whole length of the entrance to the course, giving players a taste of what is to come!
